I'm running Amarok 2.3.2 under KDE 4.5.3 Qt v4.7.0.
When attempting to access the menu items - Amarok, view. playlist, etc nothing happens, yet i can still access my music collection. However, when right clicking an item in the collection, i don't get a menu options list as i used to. Anyone else have this problem, perhaps a possible fix? |

Does menus appear in other applications? Can you provide a screenshot? ( You can use the timer feature of KSnapShot to help )

This is related to a bug in the Current Track applet: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=250004
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

FreeBooteR, if you click away from the Now Playing applet, your menus will all reappear. This is now fixed in GIT, but not yet released. Look for the new release early in the new year.
You should always be able to scan from the console by invoking amarokcollectionscanner: http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/Batch_Mode |
