Hello,

Few days ago, amarok stop read the mp3 files, and tell me to reinstall the codes. I did it, but it changes nothing. I try to remove the configuration files in .kde4/share, and reopen Amarok, but it still not work. And if I read mp3 files with other login, amarok plays them ...

Can you help me, please ?
Thank you.

try renaming both application directory .kde4/share/apps/amarok and the configuration files and see if that helps. If you have a very large collection just use a single directory as the collection folder to save time in testing.

I did it, and Amarok continues to not read MP3, only ogg files. I forgot to tell, if it could help you, than kafeine correctly reads this files.

what backend are you using? if not xine, change to xine
settings -> xonfig Amarok -> playback -> configure phonon -> backend -> xine
