- Try the same file in another computer
- Try the file with the latest version
- Try the file with a debug version

Nothing happened with last version. I put this file to collection directory, dropped collection DB, and made complete rescan, all tracks on their places (counting yours). So I guess, the only thing you have to do - update amarok.

Well thanks for giving it a try.

I will try with the last version tomorrow (here in spain is late night), and report back.

Any advice on getting amarok from git?

Not really, he needs to follow all the steps on Kubuntu, especially removing the distribution packages and setting the build environment.

Just compiled from GIT sources today,

And finally it's working!!!
