Hi,
Every time I start Amarok I am getting this message: "The process for the file protocol died unexpectedly." For me the description is to vague and I have to "Ok" it for amarok to proceed. Does anyone have a cure / solution?? thx Bloemetjesgordijn System: KUbuntu 10.10 64 bits Amarok: 2.3.2 KDE 4.5.4 |

This is probably due to some corrupt configuration settings. Try removing the amarok* files in $HOME/.kde/share/config/ and restart KDE.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Thx it helped (Amarok needed to rescan my music files though). But no more pesty error messages.
I will mark this thread as Solved (if I can find out how). |
