I had to do a full rescan and now all my singles are shown under "various artists" -> "unknown album". This is different than yesterday (still running beta) where they were shown under the actual artist. Is there any way to change this I do I need to force an album name (even if it's "unknown")"

Question - did the test/criteria change for "various artists" because I also had large number of albums show up there and they had to be re-categorized individually

My understanding is that if there is an album artist tag, it is not Various Artists. So if the track lacks that tag, it will be VA.

that's fine but to me this is new behavior as they did not show that way until I did a full rescan. I think there's a wish list somewhere to have a singles category and that would make much more sense (at least to me)

I'm fine with the sorting under "various artists" > unknown album", what bothers me is that i cant set a cover for those tracks anymore...
