Album Problems

Fri Dec 24, 2010 4:28 am
OKay so,

Amarok is giving me problems with adding music, to an album that is already in its proper spot.

Say with my Death discography.

Human already has, 3 songs that were autodetected, and the rest went to unknown.

Upon editing the information, exactly to what the auto-detected information was, it adds them into Death, but adds them as a seperate album, despite having the EXACT same information.

Now, if it auto-detects the entire album, or I add the tags for the whole album. This doesnt happen. Only, and always if I have to do half.

It does this with all kinds of my albums.

Really annoying.

Sorry for the delayed response, Just woke up

My version states 2.3.0 using KDE 4.4.2

I noticed also upon adding the above noted albums. Although they are split into two, when added to playlist, they break in 3.

RBMK86, your version of Amarok is truly ancient. Current. is 2.3.2, and 2.4 will be out in a couple of weeks. Please update if possible.

bah, I figured.

How might I go about doing that. It doesnt seem to want to update via kpackagekit.

I am on 10.04 Lucid Lynx, and have been the moment it came out. The Amarok website states

For users of Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, Amarok 2.3 will be among your normal updates
