Hey there,
I'm having a weird issue with amarok 2.4, I'm not sure if it's a bug or if I'm just doing something wrong.
I can't slide (or click outside the slider) to go forward or backwards in a song...
I used a 2.4 beta before and this issue was not present...
I'm really not sure if this is a bug, that's why I'm posting here...
Thanks

This is almost certainly an issue with your Phonon backend. Look at settings > configure amarok > playback > configure Phonon > backend to see which you're using at the moment. The available options are phonon-vlc, phonon-gstreamer, and phonon-xine. Try a different backend from the one you're using at the moment to see if they work properly.

That did it... I was using GStreamer and it wasn't working... I switched to Xine and it is :)

This is a known bug in the gstreamer backend: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=237298
that is probably already fixed in the upcoming next version.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Using Kubuntu 11.04 final and observing this problem. Installing the phonon-vlc backend as a temporary fix.
