Could you please make a screenshot of the playlist section, including header and footer, please?

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Yes, that is what I meant, thank you. You can BTW attach screen shots to your posts as well.
I just don't know how to solve that problem, and there has never been reported a bug like that to my knowledge.

Could it possibly be to do with WHERE my music is stored?? As I said, I originally had this issue in Opensuse and now with Ubuntu. The link is the partition that the music is kept on. Must admit I haven't checked the fstab loading of that partition in Ubuntu - was setup when I installed the OS..
I can always play from the Local Music collection - that works OK, but can't play my specific playlists...?? Probably something stupid I am doing on my end... Thanks, John. |

Out of curiosity: why do you have your home partition formatted in NTFS? Do you need to access it regularly from Windows?

Yes, that was the original thing where I was occasionally booting into Windows to do stuff that was a bit difficult in linux, so I could access music and other data (email, browser directories, etc). Might have to rethink shortly, as I very rarely need to access Win.
Of all things, the main reason for accessing Windows these days is to update phone software on Android smartphones!! (Isn't Android a version of Linux!! ) Thanks, john. |
