Hi all,
I've switched from an Ubuntu 10.10 system to an Arch Linux one. So I now have Amarok 2.4.0. I'm using a new configuration as the old one doesn't work. My old downloaded podcast episodes are saved on my disk. I've resubscribed to the podcasts but I can only see the new episodes in amarok, and none of the old ones. Any idea how I can get amarok to recognize them and to have them displayed in my podcasts list? It's not the first time I have such an issue when reinstalling, so I will welcome any tip! Thanks! |

You can move your downloaded episodes to the same place as the new ones are, by default this is in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/amarok/podcasts/<episodefolder>/ (might be $HOME/.kde4/... on Arch, not sure).
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Hi,
thanks for answering.
Yes, I did that. First thing I tested actualy. I also reregistered to the podcasts rss. But I can only see the new episodes in the amarok podcasts list (those from the current week, but nothing from past ones). The old ones don't seem to be recognized, they aren't displayed. Any clue on how to force amarok to reread the podcasts fodler and to include them? |
