Hi,
I use Amarok for one month. Everything is nice but when I play a Podcast, I'm not able to fastforward (for example, I cannot start listening a Podcast at minute 30). In fact, I can't do anything with de progress bar. I tried to add a bookmark and it does nothing. The problem is only with podcast. When I play something in my collection , I can access the progress bar like usual in any music player. Maybe it's normal, but some Podcast are 2 hours long, it would be nice if I can resart my podcast where I stopped last time. Thanks |

If you download the podcast, you'll be able to seek, and bookmark. In fact, if you stop listening, the podcast will automatically be bookmarked. If this isn't working for you, please try another phonon-backend. There are three to choose from from most distros - vlc, gstreamer and xine. Change it either in systemsettings, or in Amarok: Settings > Configure Amarok > Playback > Configure Phonon: Backend tab.
I don't think it is possible to bookmark streams, you must download if you want to bookmark. Right-click on the episode if you haven't set the channel to auto-download. |

Not a problem. It took me awhile to figure out the difference, too. Now I have the new podcasts auto-download, which makes it very convenient.

Quoting a developer from a bug report (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=267660#c3):
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
