Can Amarok be configured to stream the live BBC Radio streams (I am in the UK)?
The add-on script BBC that can be obtained from the Script Manager doesn't work. In rhythmbox it is simply a case of adding the radio stream url. For example BBC Radio 7: http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r7.asx Thanks for any advice. |

playlist -> add stream -> paste link should work (if it doesn't you might wish to file a bug)
fyi - I can't play the link in Amarok (git version) nor sMplayer but VLC plays it fine - of course I'm am not in UK so that could be the problem |

Where on earth did you get that link from? I'm after all the radio links since the BBC script stopped working yonks ago. Despite all my googling efforts I only appear to be able get iplayer stuff...
Edit: Okay, just changing the number worked for radio 3 and 4 (without which I simply cannot live) but not for radio 5 (not so important, just odd). Oh, I haven't tried it on amarok but it works just fine with clementine.

Brilliant, thanks!
I use clementine, qt based and easy on resources PLUS all my special multimedia keys work out of the box with it
