Amarok stop music

Hi, i have a problem for a few days ago.. (when i installed amarok 2.4) in my ubuntu 10.10.

I put that ubuntu amarok automatically open when start. From the applet-menu of amarok i put "play" in the song, and this work fine.

BUT! when i open the amarok windows, (when i lisen a song) this song automatically is stoped

anyone have a solution?

Darkween, please run Amarok from the console,

amarok --debug --nofork
. You should get some output which will let you see what is happening.

Also, you might try changing the phonon backend, and see if one works better for you than another. Usually installed are phonon-xine, -vlc, or -gstreamer. VLC and GST are preferred. To check or change the backend, Settings > Configure Amarok > Playback > Configure Phonon: Backend tab. Move them up and down the list to enable.

If you have only one backend available, the others are available as packages from the Ubuntu repositories.
