Kubuntu 11.04 beta, Amarok 2.4 and 2.4 beta1 from git have ugly color.
The problem persists after removing the profile and removing ".kde", ".kde4" and ".config". This bug appeared after upgrading to 4.6.2 http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/1417/coloroi.png |

I can't reproduce this here at all, using the default KDE settings.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I think this is a bug in Kubuntu 11.04.
Here is a screenshot of the Live-cd. |

I doubt that as I do run Kubuntu 11.04 as well, and can't reproduce this at all. What color scheme do you use? I use the default one provided by KDE 4.6.2 and the latest Amarok 2.4-git build of today.

I have this issue too.
http://img638.imageshack.us/i/amarokw.jpg/ Also this bug is present: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/769065 And on top of that notice that there is no circle in progress slider, and you can't click somewhere to use it. This sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. |

Well, that was a bug which has been resolved since, see the bug report you refer to. That's why I couldn't reproduce it, as I run the git version.
It is solved for the upcoming Amarok 2.4.1

I'm having this issue too on Kubuntu 11.04 with native Amarok 2.4.0 and with Amarok 2.4.0.90(2.4.1-beta1) from ppa.

Following the thread, I tried to solve the problem still present after the installation of 2.4.1. I can confirm this issue on the current stable version of Amarok.
Using Kubuntu 11.04 - amd64 (clean installation) |

This problem appears only in kubuntu.
I've found the reason and sent a bug to launchpad. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/786192 The temporary solution is: 1. Get 'default-theme-clean.svg' from upstream. 2. Replace '/usr/share/kde4/apps/amarok/images/default-theme-clean.svg' with it. 3. Clear Amarok's cache (remove ~/.kde/cache-*/kpc/Amarok-pixmaps.*). 4. Restart Amarok. Instead of steps 1-2 you can open '/usr/share/kde4/apps/amarok/images/default-theme-clean.svg' in text editor and replace all '#6ff' with '#66ffff' (I didn't check it, but it should work too). You can download original svg from here: https://dl.dropbox.com/0/view/ngul2eh7k ... -clean.svg |

Hi. The play button in the toolbar is still green in 2.4.0. |
