Hello every body,
We are facing some problems with amarok 2.4.0. Here is the build log http://sibelle.dyndns.org/log/pakxe/x86 ... amarok.log And here is what amarok says when we start it. Tanks for your hints tnut [ ~ ] amarok --debug KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work amarok: BEGIN: App::App() amarok: BEGIN: void App::continueInit() amarok: BEGIN: EngineController::EngineController() amarok: END__: EngineController::EngineController() [Took: 0s] amarok: BEGIN: void EngineController::initializePhonon() amarok: [EngineController] Tick Interval (actual): 100 amarok: END__: void EngineController::initializePhonon() [Took: 0.078s] amarok: BEGIN: MainWindow::MainWindow() amarok: BEGIN: void CollectionManager::init() amarok: [PluginManager] Plugin trader constraint: "[X-KDE-Amarok-framework-version] == 60 and [X-KDE-Amarok-plugintype] == 'collection' and [X-KDE-Amarok-rank] > 0" amarok: [CollectionManager] Received [ "7" ] collection plugin offers amarok: BEGIN: void CollectionManager::loadServices(const List&) amarok: [CollectionManager] Initialising "mysqle-collection" KCrash: Application 'amarok' crashing... There are several solutions suggested when searching online:
http://mail.kde.org/pipermail/amarok/20 ... 31986.html has a whole thread on it, the first thing to run is
if that doesn't help, try this (found here: http://ubuntucomputing.posterous.com/fi ... iceunknown)
Google is your friend
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

We are quite shure it's about a version of a library which is too new. But the big question is which one.
