Hello,

Since i have upgraded my KDE, my amarok media source pane is not working.

I am unable to browse my local hard drives and scan my drives.

Though i am able to see my hard drives but whenever i click on it it gets empty.

I tried to reinstall the amarok but didn't work.

I also tried to flush mysql database and rescan my directory

Can anybody help me..?

I am using kubuntu 11.04 and i have only one user in my system.


I am unable to locate single file in amarok

what Phonon backend is being used? settings -> configure Amaork -> playback -> configure Phonon -> backend

does it work for a different user - this tests for a bad/corrupted config or application file for you, by creating a new user and testing as a different user we can determine if it is a system or a user issue.

Regret for delay reply was busy in final exam..

I am just using latest amarok.

whenever i try to click on my Drive it shows blank i am unable to view anything i mean list of directories etc..

could you create a new user and try as that user or rename/move/erase your ~/.kde/share/config/amar* files and the ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok folder

which phonon backend are you using? try the gstreamer one
