sort playlist by mood

Wed Aug 10, 2011 2:00 pm
I want to sort my playlist by mood,
so i can play songs which got the similar mood accordingly.
Is that possible with Amarok 2.4.3?
If not i will install 1.4 from ppa and do it there.

thanks in advance

What do you mean by mood? Do you mean the moodbar files? If so, no, there's no way to sort by those, but they're an exceptionally poor measurement of song similarity (they're really just frequency analysis).
You might be interested in the EchoNest or Last.fm similarity biases for the dynamic playlist, which use EchoNest or Last.fm to pick similar songs for the playlist.

Or alternatively add mood labels to your songs and sort by labels.

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
