how can I update from 2.3.2 to newer versions?

I think would be interesting to add a voice in the menu called "Help > Updating", that could give info or whatever about how to update Amarok.

About updating instructions: I don't think it so complicated, just would be necessary to add the information to the wiki and a link to the menu based on the version and OS amarok is installed...

There are more distributions with their own updating methods than we could possibly keep track of. It is the distribution's responsibility to document their updates, not ours.
In practice, Amarok update repositories/etc for some of the common distributions are listed on the wiki's Download page, but this is not guaranteed to be complete or accurate.
