Unable to scroll in some files

Mon Sep 19, 2011 4:08 pm
Hi everybody,

I am using Amarok 2.4.0 and KDE 4.6.2. When I am listening to some files, I can't click on the scroll bar (to go backward or forward).

For now I only found this problem with mp3 files (but not all my mp3 files).

Do you know how to fix this ?

Thanks in advance.

This is an issue with your Phonon backend. Check which one you are currently using in settings > configure Amarok > playback > configure Phonon > backend. The recommended options are GStreamer or VLC; try an alternative to the one you're currently using and see if it works. You may have to install others; they should be available in your distro's repositories.
The other thing to do would be to update to the latest version of KDE, which will include updates for Amarok and Phonon which should also fix the issue. The method for doing this is dependent on your distribution.

I changed the phonon to vlc and I update Amarok and know it's working perfectly. Thanks a lot !
