Amarok runs podcast once per start?

Mon Oct 31, 2011 3:07 am
Since I upgraded to Kubuntu 11.10, Oneiric, I have had to restart Amarok everytime I want to listen to Sky.FM. It worked fine before, what has changed?
How do I get this fixed?
Thank you!

Can you tell us what phonon-backend you are using? Settings > Configure Amarok > Playback > Configure Phonon: backend tab. What is listed at the top of the list? You should have at least Gstreamer. If you have no other choices listed, install phonon-backend-vlc from packages. Move it to the top of the list to try it.

You'll have to restart Amarok once you switch backends.
