Hello,

I'm running Amarok 2.4.3 on Gentoo Linux. Gentoo released a new KDE version, so I updated from KDE 4.6.5 to KDE 4.7.3 today. Just to be sure I also recompiled Amarok.

Everything looked ok when I started Amarok. Until I realized that all my lyrics have disappeared :< ! Help! I have more than 13,000 tracks and most of them had lyrics. How can I get them back?

[Update]

It seems the lyrics aren't lost, Amarok simply doesn't find them anymore.

The database is in ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok and I still have "some" lyrics:
Code: Select all
-rw-rw---- 1 oliver users     8618 22. Nov 2010  .kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok/lyrics.frm
-rw-rw---- 1 oliver users 14641544 10. Dez 18:27 .kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok/lyrics.MYD
-rw-rw---- 1 oliver users  2050048 10. Dez 18:27 .kde/share/apps/amarok/mysqle/amarok/lyrics.MYI

14 MB of lyrics. How can I tell Amarok to see them again? It also seems as if new lyrics are added to the database as I'm playing some old tracks.

Did you try a full rescan?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Yes, several times, also tried the amarokcollectionscanner from the command line, didn't help.
