Hello!
Since the recent update to kde-4.7.4 I have issues with amarok-2.4.90 and also 2.5 final. OS is Gentoo amd64. What happens is that when amarok is started, the window opens but without drawing the contents. It keeps basically an empty window filled with the background color. Or, when it occasionally works, it hangs, nothing is clickable anymore and playback stops after current track. Just closing is not enough, it won't reopen. It can only be killed by 'killall -9 amarok' I am not sure if this is the same problem as described here: viewtopic.php?f=115&t=97993 If so, please move my thread there. Is there a bug report already? Btw. I already recompiled my complete system(!), wiped complete ~/.kde and thus amarok directories with no avail. It worked better with 4.7.3 so I expect plasma to be the bugger (wild guess)... |

Do you use any 3rd-party scripts?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

well, it is still possible you have some installed, please check your scripts settings. Some of them are quite persistent

I checked. None installed, only the default ones. Strange is: Amarok seems to work better when I run it from konsole with --debug option. Strange, but now it runs for more than 30 minutes.
