Could you please erase the amarok* files in $HOME/.kde/share/config/?

If that doesn't help, please make a bug report by simply following the instructions provided by Dr. Konqi. Make sure you have the package amarok-dbg installed though.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

a removing of the amarok* files in $HOME/.kde/share/config/ does not help.
after a lot of hours i found this solution to restore a crashed Database.

I made a backup of the playlists with:
Code: Select all
mysqldump -u amarok -pamarok -h serverhostname amarok25 playlist_groups playlist_tracks playlists >playlist25.sql

if amarok does not start, restore the backup with:
Code: Select all
mysql -u amarok -p -h serverhostname -Damarok25 <playlist25.sql
