How can i improve this ? thanks i'm using opensuse 12.1 amarok --version Qt: 4.7.4 KDE Development Platform: 4.7.4 (4.7.4) "release 11" Amarok: 2.5.0

Could you please file a bugreport for the crash? https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=amarok Make sure you have the package amarok-debuginfo installed beforehand.
As for the absence of sound: please make sure you use either the phonon-backend-gstreamer or the phonon-backend-vlc, you probably still use the xine backend which is deprecated and unmaintained. Also don't forget to install the gstreamer-plugins, you need bad and ugly for the various proprietary codecs.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Using gstreamer makes sound ok now
i had xine engine, seems like gstreamer is mandatory now. I had the gstreamer plugins aready, but ugly that i added. Adding the same local music does not crash the soft anymore, I'll fill a bug report if it comes back. Thanks

That depends on the distributions who still ship it. Since a new distribution is not published very often that is not surprising.
