Hey,
Amarok just killed parts of my statistics. To be exact, Amarok forgot all statistics of albums with special characters. Well, it's not the first time that the program f*cks up a database, but this is the first time I don't know how to restore it. I've a backup which is a couple of days old and the messed up database. I'd like to keep my statistics since the last backup and I want the old ones back. I know that the stats are still in the database(s) and I want to re-link them somehow with manual MySQL editing. In the messed up database, I tried to edit the ids of the statistics table to link them to the urls table, but Amarok just ignored it and a rescan didn't help. Does anyone know, how I can make Amarok to register the old statistics again? Thanks. |

You should maybe start telling us the Amarok version you are talking about?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Is there nobody who tried to edit the Amarok database?
