Hey,

Amarok just killed parts of my statistics. To be exact, Amarok forgot all statistics of albums with special characters. Well, it's not the first time that the program f*cks up a database, but this is the first time I don't know how to restore it. >:(

I've a backup which is a couple of days old and the messed up database. I'd like to keep my statistics since the last backup and I want the old ones back. I know that the stats are still in the database(s) and I want to re-link them somehow with manual MySQL editing.
In the messed up database, I tried to edit the ids of the statistics table to link them to the urls table, but Amarok just ignored it and a rescan didn't help. Does anyone know, how I can make Amarok to register the old statistics again? Thanks.

You should maybe start telling us the Amarok version you are talking about?

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
