Hi all,

kubuntu oneiric, amarok 2.4.3 (but I also tried the beta version, 2.4.90, same problem):
whatever search I launch in the discogs (version is 1.1b) retrieve tags form, the script find no results, the search results window is blank.
I'm not sure if that makes any sense (newb here) but I tried running the main.js file of discogs in the amarok script console and it stops which returned me this error:

TypeError: result of expression 'Amarok.Window.ToolsMenu.Discogs'[undefined] is not an object.

I know this is not much to work with, maybe you can address me on how to get more information

Thanks
Giovanni

You need to speak to the script author. Try its KDE Apps page, which I assume is this one. We can't really support third-party scripts.

Ok thanks, seeing as it comes practically integrated in amarok I thought he was in the team. I'll try and ask him.
thanks

We don't ship this script with Amarok, and it doesn't appear to be included in Kubuntu's Amarok package either.

I don't have any reason to doubt of what you're saying, but in a fresh installation of Amarok (on kubuntu, at least, italian localization) discogs is one of the scripts that you just have to "check", in tools->configure amarok->script manager. It's along with the amarok script console, cool streams, librivox.org and lyricwiki. Other scripts you have to download them by pressing the Get More Scripts button, but not these ones. This is what made me think it could be "officially" supported.
bye
