All,
My openSUSE 12.1 Linux server contains the home dirs of users (/home), the mp3 collection (/mp3) and also holds mysql. The home directories are automounted on the clients which gives the user the same computer experience independent of the PC/client. Next to this /mp3 is also mounted (as /mp3) on the client. On PC1 (openSUSE 12.1 64bit) I have setup Amarok (http://www.famtenhoopen.nl/wall/pc1-amarok.png) using mysql as db and added all mp3-s under /mp3 (http://www.famtenhoopen.nl/wall/pc1-setup.png, http://www.famtenhoopen.nl/wall/pc1-setup2.png) resulting in a collection (http://www.famtenhoopen.nl/wall/pc1-amarokscreen.png) I now logoff from PC1 and logon to PC2 (openSUSE 12.1 64bit). I will get there the same /home, /mp3 and connection to the db but amarok (http://www.famtenhoopen.nl/wall/pc2-amarok.png) shows me 0 tracks, the number of albums is one less but the number of artists is correct (http://www.famtenhoopen.nl/wall/pc2-amarokscreen.jpg) Anybody any idea what's going on .... any tips or trics..... or is it a bug/feature???
Thanks in advance,

I assume that both PCs use the same versions of KDE and Amarok and all the rest?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Do you use the internal database only? Then of course you will not see the stats as those are in the user specific folders: $HOME/.kde4/share/apps/amarok/..

I'm using a mysql db on the server. See also the screenshots of the configuration.
