Hello, Everyone
I have tried Amarok from the official Fedora repo, and I have tried compiling and installing Amarok from the GIT repo. Result is the same: I cannot get Amarok to scan the directory that I point it to for my Local Collection.
I realize that this message is lacking in detail, but this about all that I can tell you at this point. Let me know any additional information you may need, and I will provide it.

The rare cases where this happened before was some missing MySQL package, please check this with your distribution. SInce we do not package, this really needs to be addressed with your distribution, we have no influence over this.
