Also: where do you filter, within Amarok?

I user Amarok Version 2.8.0 in Windows (KDE 4.11.00) and Amarok Version 2.9.0 (KDE 4.14.38) in Kubuntu Latest (Bionic).

And the place I enter the syntax my filter is in the left side, near local music on local collection.

One possible explanation is that your collection was not updated automatically, activating this in the settings (Amarok Settings -> Local Collection -> Watch folders for change) followed by a full collection rescan should help..

Another issue could be that your collection is remote and the update did not happen due to the collection not being accessible, a full collection rescan usually helps to solve this problem as well.

Also, my question about the location of the filter is relevant as you can either filter manually by entering the criteria in the text field, or you can use the filter tool, see also https://userbase.kde.org/Amarok/Manual/ ... Collection
