Hi all,
customizing amarok local files I have unchecked boxes like file size and date from displaying - and accidentally unchecked also file names. Now right click doesn't let me check it back again. Any clue how to make amarok display file names again? I guess there's a config file somewhere where those settings get stored? thanks |

Did you try a right click on the title bar in the Files Browser to see if the option shows?
FWIW: would be nice to have at least some indication about your version and distribution.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Hi, thanks for your attention.
I actually meant filenames in File Browser within Amarok. I'm running gentoo linux with kernel 4.14.83, plasma-workspace-5.13.5-r1, amarok-9999 |

Yes, I understood that, but you should still be able to right-click on the title bar in that file browser to see the available columns.
If this doesn't work, you should be able to find the configuration files in your home rep in either home/.local/.. or home/.config/.. There must be a line for the File Browser in either amarokrc or amarok_homerc. Deleting it and restarting Amarok should do the trick

Thanks.
I found a file at ~/.local/share/amarok/file_browser_layout couldn't open it so I renamed that file and it got recreated with default values - problem solved. Thank you. |
