I'm jsut wondering if 1.1 will support KJSembedded for developping plugins?

because i remember on the main page you guys were talking about this feature.

and jsut for curiosity do you have a aproximated date for 1.1 final?

The code is actually already contained in 1.1, but was disabled in this release. We would have loved to activate KJSEmbed scripting, but the state of KJS is holding us back currently.

For instance, there is no way of stopping a script after it's been started. You could run a couple of scripts, but you would not be able to stop them until you exit amaroK, and there's no workaround available. At the aKademy conference I've been discussing this problem and other issues with Ian Geiser, the author of KJS, and there are plans to improve the situation, but until then amaroK scripting must stay on hold
