Much of my music that is correctly tagged is placed into the category of Various Artists. I have had this same problem in Version 1.1 and all the beta versions preceding it. This does not keep the songs from going under their correct artists, it just really confuses me. Is there an unknown purpose for the category? Thanks!

the same thing confuses me too...
what has been different in 1.0.2, that the artist were shown seperatly?
and why are the songs suddenly tagged like on amazon.com?

at amazon.com some songs are marked by [#] and now old songs of mine are tagged the same way in my collection.
couldn't that be like in earlier versions of amarok?

this "various artist" thing is not the problem - leave it like that, but with that came some bugs.

another thing besides some not playing (they just skip, and those are marked [#] in the context-browser) album names are mixed up in the collection. some albums appear under a different name, although the tag says something different.
