Hi. Is there any plan to create an Audioscrobbler plugin?

Audioscrobbler tracks the music you listen to and displays it on your personal AS page. You can then see what other people with similar interests are listening to, as well as friends and stuff. I'm sure some of you have heard of it. XMMS seems to be the only Linux player with a plugin for AS. One for amaroK would be quite neat.

Audioscrobbler support is the main thing that I'm missing in Amarok.

There's also a php script for using Audioscrobbler with mpd.

Heh I was going to write a patch for audioscrobbler after seeing someone write a patch for juk. Then I checked out the latest CVS and it looks like its already been done :laugh:

It doesn't look like its complete though.

All the code does at the moment is search audioscrobbler for related artists.
This is the KDE audioscrobbler class someone wrote http://scrobbler.progoth.com/
Would be good if it was integrated into amarok.
