itunes file compatability

Sat Oct 23, 2004 12:28 am
it would be nice if it could play aac file from itunes without having to change .m4a to .mp4. this cant be too difficult, surely just adding m4a into the file search code. at the moment it seems silly to have to retag all my files.

thanks

Amarok V1.2.3 Does this Already. It is capable of playing .m4a files. however for some reason you can\'t edit the tags. Amarok can\'t play .m4p files because those files are protected.

This should be fixed if you use a new enough version of xine-lib.
edit: now I see how old this is. Thread necrophilia. :)
