Hi !
First of all: thank you for the great job you offered us with amarok. I just discovered irate radio, and i think that it's a very good solution to many problems (webradio bandwidth, illegal P2P down/upload, discovering some new and unknown artists...). As amarok is a great player (the greatest ?), as irate is a great webradio system (but not a standard webradio as amarok already support), it'll be a good thing to have a "plug-in" of amarok supporting irate playlisting and music downloading... |

I looked at what they had to download, and they don't appear to have any standard irate libraries. Considering they haven't finalized their protocol, it would be somewhat of a moving target.

Thanks for the fast answer.
![]() I'm note a developper, but i managed to browsed irate website to find something about irate protocol (as there already is a noatun plugin, there should be a defined protocol...). So i find two things: [ul][*]there is an API for external programs (amarok could be one of them) [*]There is a definition of the protocol[/ul] But you are true, irate is in an early stage !
