PROBLEM:
my mp3 music collection is entirely stored on different folders on CD\'s. when i want to listen to something i just pop a cd in and listen ![]() i found amarok collection manager has some problems with this setup. it fails to update the collection: either because it deletes old entries or because it simply doesn\'t add new ones. i tried to add both: 1) \'/media/cdrom\' 2) or for example \'/media/cdrom/ by selecting relevant entries in the collection wizard, but to no avail. is this a problem with sqlite or amarok? how can i solve this one? FEATURE REQUEST: it would be just wonderful, once the above is fixed, to be able to browse the collection and, once selected an artist, being asked to insert the relevant CD, maybe by a user defined CD label (case 1 above only?) PS: amarok is the best |
