I would love, (really, this is a good idea!) to see selectable presets for the eq i.e. rock, jazz, pop, classical etc. like there is on windows media player.

That would be nice, indeed.

One great thing for the EQ would be a command to import a WinAmp/XMMS preset .eqf file.

Another missing thing is a label or something to see amplification for each band. XMMS shows the amplification in dB in the main window, when you drag any band slider.
