Hi there,
I used to be a mad gnome fan, but have recently installed SuSE with KDE and I like amarok so far. The only thing that it\'s lacking (being very important for me) is that it doesn\'t have jack support (http://sf.net/projects/jackit). Jack is cool as it\'s realtime capable and means that amarok output can be routed to any available jack client. All of my Linux audio use is with Jack as I run a recording studio and therefore need the performance. Any plans to support it? Thanks, Dan -- Dan Harper http://danharper.org/linuxdesktopblog/ |

hey dan...
right now, there are no such plans. but how knows, future brings feature. anyway, for now there\'s another solution: a) use gstreamer with jacksink, to pipe your sound to jack b) install the dmix plugin for alsa to use multiple programs accessing the sound device concurrently. regards, muesli |
