what happened the kind \'eye\' logo that we had a while back..? I thought that was cool

You always can overwrite the icons installed by default. To do so, copy and overwrite with the desired icons

/usr/share/icons/your_theme/22x22/apps/amarok.png
/usr/share/icons/your_theme/32x32/apps/amarok.png

etc ...
