I have a problem with Amarok since the 1.2x series:
when I drag a directory from the \"Files\" tab to the playlist, all files are added, but if there is a .m3u file, the list is added too. So each song is added twice. Is there a way to disable this? Or maybe it\'s a bug? regards |

It is kind of annoying. I\'ve just been deleting my .m3u\'s since mine are all pointless.

I agree it is annoying. It\'s meant to be a feature, but in reality it\'s more like a nuisance.
Proposal: I could change it so that playlist files (m3u) are not read recursively, but only when you drag them directly. Opinions?

Playlist files should not be parsed when dragged with a directory. It makes no sense IMO.

Yes, if someone wants to have a directory of .m3u\'s, it isn\'t much harder to just select them all from within the directory. This generally isn\'t how folks use .m3u\'s anyways.
