Hi Everyone,
I\'ve got Amarok Beta 2 installed and running great. I was just wondering if I have to uninstall beta 2 before installing beta 3? Thanks, Chenu |

Depends on how you install amaroK.

Generally it is safe to upgrade without an uninstall between major versions, but you should uninstall if you try out cvs or betas.
I rarely uninstall, but every so often something is broken and I have to uninstall/reinstall to fix it. |

make uninstall
OR find `kde-config --prefix` -name \\*amarok\\* -exec rm {} \\; |

Thank You! I\'m only going from beta 2 to beta 3 so I\'ll just do an upgrade.

i\'m not able to downgrade to beta3 from the newest cvs, which is broken. i tried just ./configure, make, make install, but still i have the cvs version installed, so i really need to remove amarok completely. how can i do it?

how can i use this, when i\'ve installed from the cvs install shellscript?
this yields: bash: kde-config: command not found find: Der Pfad muß vor dem Suchkriterium stehen. (path has to be before search criteria) Syntax: find [Pfad...] [Suchkriterium] |

\"current song\" and \"lyrics\" tabs are disabled, none of the click areas on the left side seem to work (neigher left nor right).
