just realized that, if a directory does contain a picture, it is automaGically taken as cover.
now THAT is cool. is this a new feature? didnt realize it sofar, thx!

since today (CVS 2005/01/12) right-click -> show cover in fullscreen dosnt work anymore

sure. well, "Show Fullsize" actually. if i choose it, the cover ist shown, but still the minimized view.

works again in todays CVS, but now all my covers have gone, and i have to select each of them manually again.

so to speak.. show covers in fullscreen does work, but all covers have to be selected again. do i really have to go for this, or is this fixable in he code and i should just stay tuned?

addition: gif covers do only show in fullscreen, and not in the small view. ah well ..

i was wrong. well, i just throw at the gif and replaced it with a jpg, but it is still not shown, just the cover with the questionmark.

dunno whats wrong there, works for all of my albums except one of them. :blink:

found bug.. actually the album in question was \"Crisis? What Crisis\" by Supertramp. if i remove the questionmark and exchange it with a dash like this \"Crisis - What Crisis\" the cover shows up fine. seems like a \"?\" is not allowed (yet) in the album title.

condense all that down and send it over to bugs.kde.org

i experienced the same problem with 1.2

images found automatic get added to the images table
but not to albumcovers/large

amazon fetched images are copied to albumcovers/large
but not to the images table

manually set covers are copied to albumcovers/large too
im not sure about the images table

the problem seems to be that the images table isnt used by show full image

but why copy locally stored images at all
simply use the images table in every case
and use albumcovers/large only as storage for amazon fetched files
but not generally
