It could be a nice thing to have a system \"apt-get-cdrom\" like...
For Example: I have many dvd of mp3\'s... and every time i have to reload the list... it takes some time... instead having an index for every dvd could speed up the loading times..
This could be usefull specially for people like dj\'s... and normal users too!

What do you think?

A possible next step: a catalog of the music we have in the removible only readble devices...

I like this idea, maybe use a hash like for cddb lookups maybe.

I like the idea, lord knows where all my backups are I can never find the particular track I want.

I could incorporate this into the \"mediadevice\" plugin architecture. The lists could then be cached using sqlite. Nice thought. A DVDArchive media device.
