Feature request - song text saving

Mon Feb 28, 2005 6:58 pm
Hi,
amaroK has great feature - recieving song text from the web.
But it doesn\'t save it - every restart text goes to /dev/null :-(
Can you teach amaroK to save song text to the hdd?

P.S. Thanks for the amaroK - it\'s the best :-)

I don\'t think it\'s possible (due to legal issues).

Hm, AFAIK different countries has different laws about this problem, so it\'s possible to make this feature optional (like bytecode interpreter in freetype package ;-).

AmaroK uses the album covers that reside in the same dir as the album music, so why doesn\'t it use the lyrics automatically? Imagine that I have

Vasja Pupkin - The KIewl Song.ogg
Vasja Pupkin - The KIewl Song.txt

in the same dir. amaroK could interpret the file \"Vasja Pupkin - The KIewl Song.txt\" as lyrics.
