Album Covers

Where does amarok store it\'s album covers? Is it in the home dir, the dir with the music files, or somewhere else? If it doesn\'t automatically do so, is there a way to store the covers in the same folder as the sound files?

There is a script which does this.

It stores it under the ~/.kde hierarchy.

I\'ll expand on what eean has said:

covers are stored in
$HOME/.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers/

you are able to copy covers to a specific directory using the copy cover script found at http://amarok.kde.org/wiki/index.php/Scripts

Any cover that is stored in the same directory as the music file, such as:

3 Doors Down/The Better Life/cover.jpg

will have the cover.jpg as the cover image for those songs, as long as there is now stored image for this album in the cached directory (above).

Thanks again guys. And thanks for such a kick **** app. And one more question. Whats party mode? I saw it mentioned under \"everyone\'s favorite feature\" but I don\'t have the CVS version.
