Hi,
it would be great if AmaroK had a backup feature integrated to back up the music files. Something like an integration with K3B to burn a DVD (or more) . That would enable to store the music files on external devices (like ipods) only and not wasting hard disk space on every computer. |

Seems like a better feature for k3b to have. Though maybe I don\'t understand what you mean.

I think he means a feature like \"backup complete amaroK inventory\" which includes:
-media-files -covers -playlists -sql-database etc. in one backup-file or parted in e.g. 700MB/4.7GB pieces. Then you can easily setup a new system and restore everything with a \"restore amaroK inventory backup\" button. Post edited by: tux73, at: 2005/04/15 22:59 |

Does that feature keep track of which albums or songs that have already been backed up. So that you constantly can keep your backup updated?
The backup feature from itunes is pretty much the only thing I miss, everything else is for sure there ![]() |
