Just sent a feature request via email to development team before I foun this forum ^^
However, I think about storing the covers on the server where all my media-files are stored and shared using the mysql feature. works great. just mounted on each client in the same folder the nfs-share and so, every user on each machine can use the same database. But everybody has its own cover-folder (80MB). This is somewhat uncool. Is there a way to store the covers on the server and every user and every client can access this folder? (whithout mapping a nfs share to ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/albumcovers ?) Or is this really a feature request? Post edited by: tux73, at: 2005/04/15 23:06 |

There\'s already a script which copies the images to their respective music directories... just run that every so often.
Otherwise, symlinks should do this, shouldn\'t it?
