I\'ve noticed that the metadata change for streams -- I mean when a new title is loaded, and the OSD pops up, and my karamba lyrics change -- occurs quite a bit before the song actually changes in amaroK. At first I thought this was the stream\'s fault, but I tested the same stream simultaneously in XMMS, and there the title change/OSD popup occurs when the song actually changes, eg about 30 seconds after it happens in amaroK.

I don\'t know why this is, but since XMMS gets it right, I figure it can be done -- by looking at their code if nothing else. Could I request this fix?

On timing, the difference seems to be 30 seconds every time. Maybe just a delay of 30 seconds is all that is needed?
