Hi!

I\'d like to use the visualization plugin on a different monitor than the main monitor. The built in visualization feature (Tools -> visualization) opens a menu where a visualization can be chosen, but it is displayed on the main monitor.

With a script i try to open the visualization on a different display:

[code:1]
DISPLAY=:0.1 amarok_xmmswrapper2 /tmp/ksocket-***/amarok.visualization_socket goom
[/code:1]

When I run this code I get an error
[code:1]
XMMSWrapper] Could not connect to the socket
[/code:1]

After opening and closing again the amarok visualization menu, it seems that the socket is initialized, and I can run the above code to display the visualization on the second monitor.

Now to the question: can I initialize the socket from the command line, or is this only possible by opening and closing the visualization menu?

Thanks,
Stefan
