Im using the xine engine at the moment but whenever I enable the equalizer the volume seems to drop over half. The pre-amp thing or whatever it is at the side seems to have no effect..
Anyone else get this problem? |

The same thing is happening to me it\'s the reason I don\'t use the equalizer.

Yes pre-amp doesn\'t work. Just turn up your speaker volume.

Its not really the pre-amp thats the problem, its more the huge volume drop.. you cant have that
No plans to fix? Also problems with the eq script for the arts engine which seems to have no effect.. Post edited by: brk3, at: 2005/06/04 21:15 |

What eq script for arts?
Err, isn\'t the volume dropped caused by the lack of pre-amp?

Oh right.. probably  But my speakers dont go that loud anyway so cant really live with that.. You know in the scripts section, the one called \'graphequaliser\'. Doesnt seem to be that great. The basis of the eqs are there, would I be right in thinkin they just havent had much work for a while? Ive just not really bothered with them cause they dont work that well but I opened xmms there by accident in the last while and the one thing that really came back to me is how well the eq works in it. If you change one of the sliders the effect is instantly noticable.. |
