When I see amaroK\'s OSD, I think about those cool, animated, spinning and rounding OSDs which can be seen on TV stations. Wouldn\'t it be great if amarok could display such eye-candies? And even more - a plugin support, so people could make their own OSDs, like themes and srcipts. Sounds good for me.

You already could make a script that does its own OSD. If somewhere were to make such a script and request it, we could create a DCOP call to turn off amaroK\'s OSD so it would be a smooth replacement.
